A workshop with Linda Burr
Tuesday July 9, 2013 7:00pm-8:00pm
Square foot gardening is an ingenious planting method based on using square foot blocks of garden space instead of rows. Gardeners also build up, using trellises. The method is very efficient and requires less thinning, less weeding, and less watering. Popularized by Mel Bartholomew, his method quickly received worldwide recognition and has been written up in every major newspaper and gardening magazine. His book, Square Foot Gardening, has sold over 2 million copies.
Linda Burr is a garden member who is currently using this method in her garden plot. She will explain and demonstrate some of the techniques involved.
