Japanese beetle infestation!

Danielle noticed this morning at the garden that we have a Japanese beetle infestation. There are also lots of smaller beetles on the cucumbers (yellow and black).

Anyone out at the garden could try to capture and squish the Japanese beetles. They are currently mating so it could be even worse. They eat everything! They are easy to capture but have wings (using gloves helps with the process).

It would be great if people could try to remove the beetles from the donation and children's boxes (if they have some extra time) as well as their own, as these beetles will fly happily from one box to another for a meal!
