We had a great weekend of building on June 23-24: got 12 or so boxes up, with a great turn-out of volunteers on all three days. EZPZ Pizza and the Havana Club came through with some lunch for us on Saturday (sorry folks on Sunday).
Everybody got to be experts at levelling (thanks to the Engineers for the quick tutoring), and we claimed our ground among the Sunday market goers: the response of everybody passing was so positive! Great feelings all around.
We'll keep you posted on the next round of building! We are now waiting for the all clear to sink rebar for plot supports: then we can order the soil and start to fill the boxes. Plus, there will be a second round of building, once more lumber comes in. So roll up your sleeves, everyone.
